DADs for Life Celebrates 10 Years!

DADs for Life was launched on 19 November 2009 in conjunction with International Men’s Day, with a mission to inspire, mobilise and involve fathers to become good influencers in their children’s lives for life. Since then, it has grown into a national movement engaging over 250,000 families each year with initiatives such as Eat with Your Family Day, Back to School with Dad and Celebrating Fathers.

    It's all hands on board as you put the little ones to work with you to create a truly unique table for the living room or bedroom. Make wonderful memories as everyone channels their inner artists and have fun experimenting with an exciting variety of mediums such as colour pigments, inks and glitter in resin. Receive a polaroid photo of father and child as a keepsake of this creative experience!

  • Make a Father's Day card with paper quill

    Learn to make a special Father's Day card with quilling technique (simply rolled up strips of paper!) It's easy even for little fingers but you'll be amazed at the finished product! Workshop comes with a snack and drink for each father and child. Workshop is conducted by a volunteer crafter, with all fees donated to My NoNNa's, a social enterprise who hires persons with handicap and special needs.

    Special session for fathers with special needs children. Conquer the obstacles at Safra Kidzamaze, while fathers get more information on topics by therapists.

  • Pizza Making workshop

    Enjoy a hands-on session with Jamie's Italian MasterChefs as you and your child become chefs for the day, making your very own pizza! Also learn how our chefs make fresh pasta every single morning to make Jamie's Italian's signature pasta dishes. Enjoy the fruits of your labour as your pizza comes out piping hot from the oven! Min 10 pairs, max 14 pairs.

  • Let's Race Our Dragster!

    An all-time favourite! Great bonding time for dad and child as you build and programme the dragster together. Watch your child's eyes light up when the motorised robots come to life! There is a high adrenaline rush close to the session as each dad and child pair gets to race their creation to the finishing line!

  • Jungle Run Walk Edition

    Overcome obstacles around our 3km jungle course and take time to enjoy the great outdoors together. Come and be removed from the hussle and bustle of Singapore by strolling along the trail swamped with a variety of indigenous flora, set within a deep 800m long ravine, beneath a high canopy of trees. You will be surprised just how free you will actually feel.

  • DADs for Life Overnight Camp

    Our most popular overnight father and child camp is back again! Come spend a day with your child completing exciting activities, and sharing a tent at night, in the outdoors (but covered)! Discover another side of each other as you put up the tent together and gaze at stars till you fall asleep. Limited to first 200 pairs of father and child only. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Be fast, we were fully booked in 2 weeks from launch in 2018!

  • I Walk, I Shoot - Natural & Cultural Heritage

    "I walk, I shoot" is a half day programme, that allows participants to go on a trail in a part of Singapore to capture unique sights on their cameras. Participants will be in groups of 10 with 1 facilitator. The groups will then submit their photographs and the group with the best images will win a prize. Minimum participation is 30 pax.

  • Fire Fighter Playdate

    A wonderful father-child bonding playdate! First, music and movement where the little ones will sing and dance with the fire engine props. Next, a bean bag tossing activity to bring down the fire. Then, an obstacle course to save lives and put out the fire. Next, a relaxing sensory tray for the little ones. Finally, a father and child messy paint craft work to end a fun session.

  • Build your own Trebuchet (Medieval Catapult)

    Bond with your kids in this high adrenalin hands-on workshop! Each father and child pair will co-create a medieval trebuchet, and compete against each other in a shoot-out competition! There will also be purpose-designed games and activities to enhance communications and bonding between you and your child.

  • Crumbly Cupcakes Workshop

    Learn to make crumbly cupcakes from scratch. Hands on workshop with cupcakes to bring home (if any are left!).   • I'm a Little Explorer

    An outdoor forest classroom, with creative nature activities, craft work, singalong and immersive storytelling based on a theme! Making use of natural materials, father and child are led through various stations for exploration.

  • Move that Mabot!

    Mabot, a modular robot kit that combines education and entertainment for kids and adults to spark their imagination, with hands-on learning, teamwork, and fun. Each Mabot kit is an incredible robotic system that allows kids to use modular components to create robots and unique functions such as moving, sensing the surroundings and interacting with the environment.
