Dads for Life CEO & Leaders' Breakfast Meeting

About 60 CEOs and corporate leaders learnt the benefits and costs of having close father-child relationships and having father-friendly business policies at the Dads for Life CEOs and Leaders’ Breakfast Meeting.

The event was held at the Goodwood Park Hotel on 15 May 2010.

In his opening address, Mr Richard Seow, Chairman of the Fathers Action Network, noted that many working fathers claim that “work commitments … prevent them from being a good father.” He also encouraged the corporate leaders to make the workplace more father-friendly for the “60,000 to 80,000 dads” who work under them.

The keynote speaker for the event, Mr Josh McDowell, gave a few real-life examples of successful companies which place a premium value on family, or has family-friendly business policies. Read more about these international examples of father-friendly practices at the workplace.
