I learn from seeing how my children make decisions, how they interact with the present world as well as the feedback they can give to me as a person. I have learned to relax, take off my father hat and listen to my child. He is the one who physically stops me from destroying my nails in my nervousness. He is honest with me if what I am wearing does not fit me even if it is bought by Mum. He tells us off when we don't really have a clear reason for what we are believing and trying to dump it on him. We still need to remind him to make his bed and pick up his dirty clothes; he is 13 but we listen when he talks to us. We also need him to help us navigate this internet world since he is a native and never knew of a day without computers.
