Launched in June 2007, the 10000 Fathers Reading! programme is an annual nationwide movement to encourage fathers to read to their children on a regular basis. This initiative aims to increase fathers’ involvement in their children’s literacy development and to improve the quality of father-child relationships. Reading also ignites children’s imagination and encourages them to turn their dreams into reality.
