We remember once when Ethan was having his meal, he had just discovered a little hole in his baby chair which he could put his little finger into. Hannah and I noticed that and cheered loudly. He slowly turned his head to our direction, smiled and his eyes beamed! Thereafter, he did it again and tried to look out if we had noticed it. Of course, we caught notice of it and cheered wildly. He smiled and then beamed again at his own achievement and having his parents cheer him on. It's amazing how a little encouragement goes a long way to help our child feel special and noticed.
